June is the month for our very big Italian party!

JUNE 14, 2026 – We had a delightful Italian celebration on Sunday, June 14, at a stunning venue on Wadmalaw Island with a traditional Central Italy food called Porchetta, and fine Italian wines.

The venue is a country estate only 30 minutes from historic Charleston. It is a world apart, a Lowcountry eden, the size of Manhattan still reflecting the agrarian tradition of three centuries. There is no industry, no commercial activity other than farming and shrimping. This estate is a family-owned preserved land, protected against development by conservation easements, dedicated to appreciating all that is magical about the Lowcountry. The spectacular orchards, fields, horse pastures, maritime forests, and fully-stocked freshwater lake define a pastoral retreat and animal sanctuary.
